I wasn't sure until Wednesday if I was really going to do this, but it seems that I am. I'm participating in NaNoWriMo and will be busy for most of November thinking up fictionish things to write elsewhere. It has nothing to do with this blog, except that post-election I may write here less frequently until December. Well, we'll see.If you're unfamiliar, basically this is an informal commitment to write 50,000 words of fiction (a short novel) during the month of November. The only expected prize is the satisfaction of finishing, and learning to just write, already, without self-editing. I'm not going to post any of my fiction writing here, so don't fear. Seriously, do not fear.
And if the posting gets scarce for a while, well, that's because I'm sitting here thinking up about 1700 words of fiction per day. Wish me luck.
